Last Updated: October 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Great USA LLC collects through USA Great Tutors, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Website (usagreattutors.com) only. Video platforms, payment apps and other services that Users choose to use with one another have their own privacy policies.
The Platform is intended for Users in the United States.

Community / Nonprofit Centers provide an employer identification number (EIN) and may upload a proof of nonprofit status document. The EIN and any proof document are kept private, visible only to the organization and our admins, and used only to verify nonprofit status. Proof documents are kept in private storage.
Tutors and organizations confirm work authorization when submitting their profiles. We store this confirmation with its version and acceptance date. We collect no work authorization documents or immigration status details.
Tutors may optionally upload a teaching certificate. The document is kept in private storage, visible only to the tutor and our admins, and used only to verify it. If the certificate is verified and the tutor chooses to show a Certified Teacher badge, the badge shows the state and certified subjects. The document is never shown to Parents or students.
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, personal government ID numbers or financial account numbers. We do not ask for income information or proof of income for free or reduced-price tutoring.
2. Children's Privacy
Accounts are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Information about a Minor Student comes only from the Parent and is limited to what a Tutor needs.
We do not use advertising tools on the Website. If we add them in the future, they will never run on Request or account pages, and Minor Student information will never be used for advertising. A Parent can ask us to review, correct or delete their child's information at any time by emailing legal@usagreattutors.com. If we learn that a child has given us information directly, we will delete it.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to: create and manage accounts; review Tutor, Educational Center and School profiles before they are published; show profiles and search results; deliver Requests and notifications; manage lesson credits, credit packs and learning center plans; provide support; review safety reports and enforce our Terms of Service; prevent fraud and protect security; improve the Platform; send service messages; send marketing emails where permitted; and comply with the law.
We use referral records and Great Membership status to administer program eligibility, rewards and benefits. We use group class waitlist email addresses to notify you when group classes launch. We use short-term hashed IP addresses for abuse prevention.
4. How We Share Information
With other Users. Approved Tutor and Educational Center profiles are shown publicly in search results. We never show a Tutor's street address or anyone's date of birth. A Tutor's phone number, email address and personal website, and the requester's contact details, are shared only after the Tutor accepts a Request. When you send a Request, the Tutors you choose see the Request details.
Within Great USA LLC. USA Great Web Pros (usagreatwebpros.com) is another brand owned and operated by Great USA LLC. If a Tutor, Educational Center or School chooses to be contacted about website services, we make the following available to the USA Great Web Pros team: name and organization name, email address, phone number and preferred contact method, current website address if provided, the type of help selected, and the date of consent. Nothing else from your profile is shared for this purpose. This choice is optional, does not affect the review of your profile, and you can withdraw it at any time by changing your choice in your profile when it is editable or by emailing legal@usagreattutors.com.
With service providers who work on our behalf under contract. We use providers for hosting, database and sign-in, email delivery, and text-message verification codes. These providers process personal information only to provide their services to us.
For legal and safety reasons, as described in Section 17.4 of the Terms of Service, and to establish or defend legal claims.
In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Sale, Sharing and Targeted Advertising
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. The Website does not currently use analytics or advertising tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads or Meta Pixel.
If we decide to add them, we will first update this Policy and our Cookie Policy, ask for your consent where the law requires it, give you a clear way to opt out, and treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as an opt-out for that browser.
6. Keeping and Deleting Your Information
We keep your account, profile, uploaded photos and documents, subject suggestions, saved preferences, and acknowledgment records while your account is open.
We keep referral records and Great Membership status while your account exists. We keep group class waitlist emails until group classes launch or until you ask us to remove them. Hashed IP addresses used for abuse prevention are kept only for a short time.
We keep purchase, payment and credit transaction records for accounting and legal obligations. When your account is deleted, we remove the link to your account and personal details from these records. Payment reference numbers may remain for accounting and refunds.
You can delete your account from My Account → Account Security → Delete My Account. Enter your current password and type DELETE to confirm. This permanently deletes your account and profile, photo, uploaded teaching certificate and nonprofit proof, subject suggestions, saved preferences, and acknowledgment records. This cannot be undone. Admin accounts cannot be deleted through this option.
Your account is closed and its public information is hidden right away. We then delete its files and account records from our active systems. If cleanup cannot finish immediately, the account stays closed and deletion is retried automatically until it completes.
After deletion completes, copies of deleted data may remain in backups for a limited time until those backups expire.
We also delete accounts that never confirm their email after 7 days. Tutor and learning center accounts, including nonprofit centers, that confirm their email but never complete and submit a profile for review receive reminders at days 7 and 21 and a final warning at day 53. They are deleted after 60 days. Days count from sign-up or the date we first enable this cleanup, whichever is later. Parent and adult student accounts with a confirmed email are not deleted for inactivity. Accounts that have ever submitted a profile for review or made a paid credit purchase are excluded. The same deletion process and accounting record retention described above apply.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is completely secure. Please use a strong, unique password.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to: know what personal information we hold; get a copy; correct it; delete it; and opt out of targeted advertising, sale or sharing. We extend these rights to all Users where we reasonably can.
For other privacy requests, email legal@usagreattutors.com from the email address on your account. We will verify your identity, using information already in your account, and respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may act for you with proof of authority. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.
9. Emails and Texts
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each email. We will still send account and service messages. We do not send marketing text messages.
10. Changes to This Policy
We will post updates here with a new Last Updated date. For material changes, we will notify account holders by email or in their account before they take effect, and ask for consent where the law requires it.
