How USA Great Tutors Works
Parents and adult students can sign up and request tutors for free. Tutors start with free lesson credits, then buy lesson packs. No commission. Learning centers, schools and nonprofits can sign up and use the platform for free right now. Lesson credits are not deducted yet. We will email you before they start.
Search Your Way
Use the search box for a subject, course code or exam, or browse K–12 Tutoring, College Tutoring, Test Prep & Licensing Exams, and Beyond the Classroom. A ZIP code is needed only for in-person lessons.
Compare Tutors
Compare tutor profiles and lesson rates in the search results. Tutors set their own lesson rates.
Send a Request
Send one request to one tutor for one lesson. You may have up to 3 open requests per subject, with only one open request per tutor and subject. Adult students sign up with the parent account type.
Get Connected
Message on the site before acceptance. After the tutor accepts, contact details are shared between you and the tutor. Urgent requests expire after 24 hours; scheduled requests expire after 7 days. The conversation closes if the request is declined, cancelled or expires.
Arrange the Lesson Directly
You and the tutor agree on the schedule and payment directly. USA Great Tutors doesn't schedule lessons or collect lesson payments.
Learn Safely
Learn online, or meet in person in a public place or at a learning center; never in a home.
Signing up and requesting tutors is free for parents and adult students. Tutors set their own lesson rates; lessons may have a separate cost.
